For over 100 years St Agnes Bakery has been baking everyday from scratch, serving our local community and businesses.
We are so proud to be one of the oldest bakeries in the country still working from its original site.

The joy of baking is deeply rooted in both our own childhood memories and experiences.
Since taking over the Bakery it has been our aim to bake all our breads, cakes, pasties and sausage rolls using time-honoured methods, tried and tested recipes and only the highest quality of ingredients, just like our own mothers showed us.
We source many of our ingredients from some wonderful local Cornish producers and suppliers including, R.J. Trevarthen for our pasty and sausage meats, Green acre Farm Produce for our vegetables, Rosedown Free Range Eggs, Hanson Fine Foods for our cheeses, Trewithen Dairy, Roger’s award winning jams and marmalades, Cornish Ketchup, Cornish Sea Salt, and Nature Kitchen in Fowey. In St Agnes itself we use Churchtown Fruit and Vegetables and R.E. Carr Butchers.

We are passionate about delivering good old-fashioned service, where you will always be guaranteed the warmest of welcomes from our friendly and dedicated staff, whether you’re just popping in for a loaf of bread or stopping a while in our cosy café for coffee and a treat.
We are working hard to reduce food waste and energy usage and are committed in our support of the local food bank and homeless charities. We are also keen to support many local initiatives, as we both firmly believe that at the heart of village life should be a Bakery.
